Is there a diffrence between a 2 wheel drive and a 4 wheel drive 4 speed manual tranny in a 83 ford truck...I bought a 86 2 wheel drive f 150 and I have a 83 4 wheel drive f 150 that needs a tranny..will the transfer case off my 4 wheel drive bolt on to the 2 wheel drive tranny.

only if the 4x4 has a divorced transfer case. if they are married, then no.

No, it will not...2 wheel drive tranny is going to be longer, (or shorter depending on the suspension and engine size)even though the bell housing is usually the same if it is the same size engine in both trucks. Could have different size flywheel, clutch disc etc. too.

uh...no....the cases are different........100 positive it wont work..it either has a ZF or mazda transmission they are about 900 rebulit......good luck finding a used one..WOW for once i gave an honest answer

Try the salvage yards, they might have a tranny for your truck.

Its not possible for use dude.... I don't think you could do this stuff... and there is no such big diference between 2 wheel and four wheel drive!!!!
