My car died while my girlfriend was in work and when she came out the battery was dead. Ive been having proplems with the battery lately, but nothing more then jus needing a jump every once and a while. But now when i tried to hook the cables to the battery the alarm will go off but wont let me turn it off.

There's no harm in asking repeatedly asked questions but i guess no one who knows how to do such thing would tell everyone in the net about how such thing happened but i personally start with the basics - the battery, fuses and finally the wiring diagram. anyway there are a lot of replacement Buick parts out there and you can find them a lot online.
